What is the eligible age to join this campaign?
All residents of Malaysia age 18 and above are eligible to join this campaign. For credit cards, only those who aged 21 years old and above are eligible.
How does the Campaign work?
You’ll need to do two (2) things:
1. Register your participation on our Campaign page at sc.com/my/klscm OR SMS: KLSCM to 66399. You only need to register once to participate in the campaign and all your eligible applications/transactions from the Campaign start date 28 April 2023 will be eligible.
2. Fulfil the participating product or service application(s)/transaction(s) provided in the Campaign mechanics, which is subject to the Terms & Conditions of the Campaign.
The 1,000 KL Standard Chartered Marathon 2023 running pass reward is a limited time offer ending 30 June 2023 and is up for grabs on a first-come-first-served basis. You can continue to gain Grand Prize entries up to 30 September 2023 per the Campaign mechanics. The more you bank, the more entries you will gain to increase your chances of winning.
When is KL Standard Chartered Marathon 2023?
The KL Standard Chartered Marathon 2023 is taking place from 30 September to 1 October 2023.
Is the KL Standard Chartered Marathon 2023 running pass transferrable?
Yes, the KL Standard Chartered Marathon running passes are transferrable. Winners will be given a pin code to register via the designated KL Standard Chartered Marathon webpage.
Which categories are the running passes for?
The running pass category is open. Recipients of the running pass will be given a pin code to redeem any of the categories under KL Standard Chartered Marathon 2023. Apart from the popular half and full marathon, there are also 10km and 5km options for adults. For children, the Kids Dash is available – 1km for kids aged 6-9 years old and 2km for kids aged 10-12 years old respectively. Do note that the marathon is happening over two days whereby the half and full marathon will take place on 1 October 2023 while the other categories are happening on the first day i.e. 30 September 2023. Terms & Conditions excerpt
1. The Standard Chartered “Race from KL to Taipei” Campaign 2023 (“Campaign”) is open to clients of the Bank age 18 and above, including the employees of the Bank (“Eligible Clients”) with the following exceptions:
a) Those aged below 21 years old for credit card products; or
b) Bank’s permanent or contract staff on Front Line Incentive Plan (FLIP) are not eligible to participate in this campaign
2. The Campaign period is from 28 April 2023 to 30 September 2023.
3. The Campaign comprises 1,000 Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon (“KLSCM”) running passes (“Reward”) on first-come-first-served basis, and THREE (3) units of 4 Days 3 Nights paid trip for 2 to Taipei to race at Standard Chartered Taipei Marathon (“Grand Prize”)
4. For the Grand Prize, employees of Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad, Standard Chartered Saadiq Berhad, Standard Chartered Global Business Services Sdn Bhd, Price Solutions Sdn Bhd and all its affiliates are not eligible to participate.
5. To participate in the Campaign, Eligible Clients must:
a) Perform a one-time online registration of participation on the Bank’s Campaign page: www.sc.com/my/klscm OR SMS KLSCM to 66399 (“Registration”); and
b) Fulfil the corresponding mechanics per participating products as stated in the Table above (“Preceding Conditions”) within the Campaign Period
6. Eligible Clients are entitled to win up to a maximum of SIX (6) Rewards during the Campaign Period, regardless of how many Eligible Applications/Transactions.
7. The Reward is limited to the first 1,000 Eligible Clients who fulfilled the campaign criteria as stated in point no. 5 above after which the Bank has the right to end this Reward/Campaign at
30 June 2023 for logistics reasons.
8. The selection of Eligible Clients that receive the 1,000 running passes will be based on the successful Registration and completion of the Preceding Conditions as stated in the Table above on a first-come-first-served basis only.
9. The Reward(s) will be accorded to the Eligible Client in the form of a PIN CODE. To redeem the Reward, the Eligible Client will need to key in the pin code at the designated registration website to enjoy the free registration fee to participate in KLSCM 2023.
10. The Reward will be sent via email and/or SMS to Eligible Clients no later than 22 July 2023. Eligible Clients must redeem the Reward by 31 July 2023 to secure their complimentary running slot in KLSCM 2023.
11. To qualify for the Grand Prize, every Eligible Applications/ Transactions as stated in the Table above will earn the Eligible Client entries to be in the running to win the Grand Prize at the end of the Campaign Period.
12. Three (3) Eligible Clients will be selected as the Grand Prize winners after 30 September 2023.
